I finally got around to messing with this the past couple days and it's beautiful. It's just what I always wanted.
terminal mode was the keyboard shortcut that broke the proverbial camels back. tired is the old joke 'can you quit vi' and it was replaced with 'can you quit term mode and get back into normal mode' P.S. neovim into neovim into term mode
