spent a stupid amount of time customizing my neovim setup. now finding out that helix exists. oh.
over the years I went through like.. emacs, og vim, neovim, kakoune, and now helix :D
i'm really digging a lot of the design choices! i never tried kakoune and i feel like i've been missing out on the "selection-verb" thing — there's a bunch of muscle memory to unlearn but so much of it was garbage muscle memory.
unfortunately there are some parts that are still too premature for me to use it as a daily driver, but i'm definitely going to be keeping an eye on helix. and porting some of the nicer keybinds over to neovim in the meantime 😎
