Just got my X'eye (Genesis/Sega CD combo) back from being modded by @christa, and I'm so happy with the results. She did the works - recap, recalibrating the CD laser, replacing the save memory chip, and best of all - adding an S-video port. The Japanese version of the system had an S-video port, but it got cut from this model even though there was still a place for it in the plastic mould on the back. Christa installed an S-video circuit and mounted the port on the board, and even got the port in the place on the back where it was always meant to go. From that photo, you couldn't even tell it's not stock!

I was lucky enough to buy this when it was kind of affordable a few years ago. They've gotten so pricey...
So glad to have it back and in better shape than I've ever had it. What a great system
