ngl I am slightly mad that VR headset manufacturers didn't get their shit together on VirtualLink so we're still usually stuck with a fragile-ass cerberus power&data&video cable (or a "link box" to break them out separately) instead of one goddamned USB-C connector

my experience with Oculus Link et al has made me not trust wireless VR as much as maybe I should, I think cables are the best option but perhaps it's a different equation when you live with a pernicious feline
yeah......... although my understanding is that since the vive wireless isn't just using Wi-Fi and is using hardware transmitters it tends to work better. who knows
I could believe that a dedicated device doing WiMax or WiGig or whatever it is could work better than a Snapdragon busy with other shit doing Wi-Fi 5, not sure I'm willing to drop the CA$500 to find out though
i can play PSVR2 with a single cable on my 20 series rtx card but not on my 30 series or 7900??? WHY. i hate the valve cord so much it’s so fragile for something that goes on your head to move around with.
