Jeff everyone in Hololive is playing this game right now (they are playing the switch version) and I just played my first game of it and really liked it and though you might to when you find time in between baby https://suika-game.app/
This is sorta similar to SHOT2048, the physics-y puzzle game Yuji Naka put out on iPhone before they threw him in the slam.
finally vindicated for every time I’ve compared it to SHOT2048 and been looked at like I’m an alien
though for actual historical context it's probably important to note Suika Game was a pack-in game designed for some ceiling-mounted projector system that was around at least as early as September 2021 and apparently some gacha games had a similar minigame as well but I'm not sure if any of those predate this.
The Switch version is like 20% of all my videos on my TikTok fyp. People are making Japanese eShop accounts just to play it
