I think people sometimes get the idea that being punk is all style & anger, without recognizing that so much about being punk is about questioning authority and fighting for the sake of others
I am pretty regularly the only person inside who is wearing a mask. It doesn't bother me so much anymore, but I wish we'd collectively do something about... *waves hands around* this.
I never stopped wearing a mask. It's really disappointing that where I live, almost everyone seems to have stopped - like, if I'm in a full tram, there might be 2-3 other people at most wearing masks.
I wore my respirator to my gamedev mentorship job and half the responses were "whats up with that" and the other half were "cool mask :)"
I love my mask a ton because it helps keep other people safe, and also because it helps me a bit with some of my social anxieties around Being Perceived.
