yeah. i really want to get streaming SSR working to fix this issue but since so much of our stack is weird and homegrown there's some Bugs. i don't love the decision having to be "serve a useless blank html page that we populate on the client" or "hold up all page loads until we're done downloading a gigantic blob of html and json from the server"
It seems anecdotally to block on all other subresources before the JS ever initiates, which feels unusual
yeah i've observed that some as well. the event we're waiting for to hydrate shouldn't be causing that so idk what's up. it's wack
