yup! not a bug per se (we're aware that it works that way and it was intentional) but also potentially exploitable
my vote for editing has always been: provide full revision history. if someone wants something to be properly forgotten they should have to delete the whole post.
yeah i should be clear that i never ever actually think things are "trivial" and i've built something like this before so none of my suggestions ever carry the implication of "just". they are just ideas and i assume all of them are hard
Does this mean that at some point in the future an indicator will be added to show when a post/comment/whatever was last edited?
no guarantees but we do have the information stored, we're just not displaying it right now
immediately creates then unposts a dummy post so that in the offchance this never gets fixed I can exploit it in five years
