if you'd have told me I would be considering moving my gaming PC to Linux in my teens I would've said hell yeah it runs World of Warcraft just fine, in my 20s I would've laughed at you, and apparently in my 30s I am back to hell yeah (but without WoW)

I mean I think it's mostly "run things in Proton" but IDK about guides
tbh I think I would be looking at using Bazzite for my gaming PC needs
i would likely do this if multiple video games i play hadn't recently-ish decided to add windows-only kernel mode anticheat :')
i don't think they exactly worked well on proton before that either (based on old protondb posts) but it's just extra miserable
