"If it were me, I'd have [changed] her design to make [her species] more visually clear" - some internet rando

I post embeds of other peoples' things at @ticky-reposts

I'm broadly pleased with it, though I don't think I can recommend the seller, I think they're drop-shipping or a ghost brand or something, and there's like forty little pieces you have to pluck out manually before you can even think about applying the skin

the skins for the grips were a pain and ultimately I think it looks nicer imo with more of the two-tone vibe going on anyway

also something that isn't really clear in the pictures online is that the x-ray imagery isn't really "to scale" with the real hardware, which is a little disappointing; the three angles you can see the USB-C port from, for example, are all differently aligned due to the focal length and perspective of the x-ray imagery

I think dbrand did the extra work to make sure their take on this kind of skin is to scale and aligned, but I don't like their "just a photo of the insides" as much, I want some damn colour

I would love if dbrand would offer different varieties of their teardown skins; it's honestly a little odd that they don't since they at least have two or three variations on every other style of skin they produce.
