and every time I go to the Xcode it doesn't work
and created a new project, added a widget extension, and got this, no other code changes whatsoever, this is all templates
there is like one other result on the web for this and it's someone on stack overflow being baffled
this means you have to select "iOS" to get a SwiftUI preview if your widget target is an iOS widget
even though the same SwiftUI widget could run on macOS just as well
also there is no "multiplatform widget" target sooooo???
