Creating lonely virtual worlds

Enby game developer and musician trying to make cool and cozy and unsettling virtual spaces

Had a long and fun road trip from Minnesota to Alabama to visit some friends and stop at some places on the way, which included going to some new fast food places that aren't available around me.

Steak n Shake: Burger was good. Reminded me of a mix of the McDonalds cheeseburger and something from Culver's. Fries were good but nothing special besides that they were skinny. Shake just tasted like a weird sour ice cream and the vanilla and chocolate tasted the same. My friend ordered some coffee. The employees were taken aback that someone ordered it and we received a cup partially filled with watery coffee that smelled like sink.

Waffle House: Quite a rundown diner vibe. One of the cooks said he got stabbed recently and had to get staples. Food was really good, though. I'd go again. Even if you can see the Kraft single partially melted on your hash browns.

Jack in the Box: Just good clean fast food. I'd take this over McDonald's any day. Sourdough Jack was really good. Curly and regular fries were both crunchy and well salted. And the shake was great except that it was hard to drink, though that became easier as it melted.
