the bottom of this gas station sign caught me a little off guard, as it looks like a low resolution texture was applied to the underside.
edit: i just realized it also looks mirrored down the middle which definitely isn't helping
at first l thought it actually was a printed photo, then "...why would they print a dirty as fuck underside" and then, finally, "oh, there's gunk on top of a translucent plastic sheet"
still, thought it was kind of neat!
texel density: not even once
ps. l'm a texture artist (among many other things), professionally (in the sense that it's my job, not that l'm good at it) and for a second it did feel like l was looking at a badly textured model lol
