took a bit to get windows to cooperate but my DnD buddies can now watch me sweat in full SD infrared!
Some of the less standard uses I've found for them:

Point it at the ceiling to see if the roof is still leaking or if the stain on the ceiling is old and dry

Point it at the wall to find studs in the drywall- fuck stud finders, I'm going thermal! (works really well!)

Point it at the floor to see where the floor heating pipes go & to which manifold inlet they connect

Point it at a teapot to see if it's 1) still hot and 2) still full enough

Figure out that apparently I have really warm hands (people say I do, but I thought they just all had cold hands. They're right, I do have really warm hands for some reason).
