some notes:

• sorry about the poor punctuation and capitalization, i intended this post to be shorter
• the mixed capitalization isn't intended to mean anything. i didn't go back to make it consistent
• the number of deaths reported by the Gaza Health Ministry, which has an excellent track record of accurately reporting verified deaths, states 29878 deaths as of this post. Between 6000 and 12000 of these deaths were Hamas (per Hamas and Israel respectively, neither of which I etirely trust).
