I am personally a fan of the current manga storyline!
But I know a lot of people prefer to end on the tidy conclusion of the anime and not go into the murky waters of "wait, what do you mean we're back on hiatus again....".
So I think it depends on whether or not long hiatuses work for you as a reader. 
More a time thing! Honestly just waiting for a slot to open up where I'm like "I have nothing to do" (a lie I tell myself to avoid doing the things I need to do 🤭)
