I've had this little beat cooked up for a while but I've been stuck on honestly how to progress it. I hear a couple things in my head but when I try them out, they just don't really fit with what I'm wanting. I really like the feel of it, but sometimes it just sucks when you get a wall you can't seem to get over.

I finally broke down and snagged a Roland JD-990 (cough like I knew I was eventually gonna do cough). It came today in one of the absolute worst packing jobs I've ever seen. I honestly thought this thing was gonna be in pieces when I opened the box. I recorded an unboxing video and will have that uploaded later, but I can share the photos of the condition of the unit. It's so damn minty it may as well have come from the original box! It also came with one of the JV expansion cards even though it was listed as coming with any. But not just any JV card, THEE JV card that any one ever seems to care about; the Vintage Synth card. That card alone goes for about 300 dollars these days. I talked this guy down a good bit on this synth just for starters (which is part of why I ended up buying it). Prices have become so overinflated recently it's hard finding deals on stuff in general. Factoring in the card makes this already great deal an absolute steal! I'm so excited to getting this puppy integrated into my studio setup!!!

I'm really loving my new hardware setup for music. The big changes being I sold my Fantom 8 to replace it with a Kawai VPC-1 and an MPC Live II. I've never been happier. It also comes with a sad since I can't help but feel like Roland really let me down hard with the current Fantom. Anyways, I did a little video, so enjoy! :D

This is probably one of my more recent jams I came up with that I keep coming back to listen to. There's just something about the vibe of it that really resonates with me. Not sure what it is. Always makes me think of older keygen music (which is where the name comes from). Should I work this out to a full track?
