also she is very specifically a witch bc liek. yea you're born w witchy properties if your parent is a witch but also most of it is stuff youhave to learn yk. dahlia was taught by someone whose face she doesn't know. liek i think she is a witch bc ofher family partially but was taught very specific spells. no real control over her life. but someone whispered to her through a wall every night to teach her spells she wasn't allowed to know. one of these being the charm spell she uses so consistently ^_^
