i recently got a britsou pd11d because reviews said it was quite and also i could get one for reasonably cheap in a hurry. it does kinda ok but i think if i was in less of a hurry at the time i would'a gotten something BIGGER and with an air purifier built in ...
i dunno if it's even like remotely at all enough to handle a basement but having a dehumidifier is pretty nice would recommend 💦🙅♀️🏜️😌

my building manager left this one in my apartment after i moved in because the carpet was not yet dry after cleaning and i guess he thought this would help. he never came back to pick it up. it definitely worked (not for magically drying the carpet but sucking water out of the air). i don't know what a "dehumidification pint" is or why it's expressed in pints rather than quarts or gallons. anyway it seems nicer than the dehumidifier that i had back when i lived in an apartment that needed one but also literally idk
