oh is that the 16-bit integer limit lol. does gimp refuse to go any higher
it looks like the width & height fields in the gif format itself are 16-bit → https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GIF#Example_GIF_file
so GIMP failed to export a JPG longer than 65500 px for some reason so I switched over to my beloved file format the GIF whose spec max is 65535 px, idk if JPG has a spec allowing for larger sizes
maybe you already tried this but i was able to delete the img in the inspector to get past it
