instead of adding noise flat across the picture, i varied the amount applied to highlights, midtones, shadows, and out of focus background; which is to my understanding how actual film grain works. (with grain essentially being a lack of light information being printed on the film, leaving impurities to be visible)i like the result, but i wonder if it's actually visible to someone who isn't me?
