sorry okay did you do a border crossing or something even more rare?
it was a border crossing but it was rare for me in how quickly I turned back.
if you are a Mexican citizen and you go into the U.S. with a tourist visa by land you need what's called an i-94 permit to stay more than 6 months or go further than 25 miles inland from the bordera and it only last for 6 months. Right now in one of San Diego's ports of entry due to some renovations you can only get your permit entering the u.s walking rather by than car. I needed the permit since I'm going to LA tomorrow and it was easier to get the permit today so I just walked into the U.S. border crossing thing they gave it to me almost immediately, I exited the building, crossed a bridge and back in Mexico I was.
holy shit that's so wild! thank you say much for the explanation, and have fun in LA!
