Oh wow yeh. People expect some really sanitized things, like from what I remember of she-ra what is "toxic" is that they are both traumatized in a fuckup world and the consequences thereof.
And yannow, they still are fairly healthy as far as fictional couples go :v
The things is it's like catra was a villain, of course she did some bad things but like children's cartoon bad things lol they just can't handle any negativity or character growth
