Laios and Falin definitely have the healthy sibling dynamic but also the only time I remember Laios' dad ever speaking during the show is in Laios' magically induced nightmare. I feel like the Touden family is deceptively terrible actually.
While I can see that, his family was ultimately a healthy one I'd say, his dad never hurt or abused him even if he wasn't the best father
There's no such thing as a perfect family but I think the struggles the Toudens have are pretty normal... or maybe given my family the bar is on the floor for me lol
I guess it's canonically bad enough for both Laios and Falin to go completely no-contact and never talk to their parents again but I do kinda get what you mean. It's a very mundane kind of falling out with your parents and not the nuclear fallout Chainsaw Man experience.
