i don't know much about dungeon meshi, but this laios guy is pretty relatable so far. i want to be a cool werewolf too, man.
I just finished reading Dungeon Meshi last night and Laios is one of the best protagonists ever. What an idiot. What a genius idiot.

The specific place this is shown is Misc Monster Tales 11 at the end of Volume 11. I'd also like to add that his egg was already cracked before that, he already talked about wanting to be something other than human in earlier chapters and there was a dream sequence where he turned into a wolf and says to himself "That is what's great about dreams".
