I don’t have scales, I have stupidly dense fur- no, that’s not a singe risk for a critter that breathes fire, why do you ask?
I think whatever dragon species I belong to is like- the magical equivalent of samoyeds, they exist to be living space heaters even in bitter cold, both through high body heat and very insulating, dense fur. Also tend to be on the softer side, and flightless, compared to most dergs. You’d think all those factors would make me a pushover, but the comforting aspects are for the people I love, I’ll kick yer teeth in if push comes to shove- still a dragon after all!
