i've been giving demon's souls a shot and i really do want to like it but it feels like slamming my head against a brick wall in a way that the other souls games only sometimes feel like. it's like a greatest hits compilation of all the most frustrating bullshit in these games.
case in point, my available route options right now are:
- wheel skeletons
- blighttown
- dogs
- brainsuckers from bloodborne
- that bit where you have to run over a bridge before the dragon comes back and burns it but like five times in a row
