Played a bit of this mod this morning. It adds a few new movement tools to Quake (trampolines, a grappling hook, grates you can climb on) and a dozen maps built around them. I like it a lot so far.

I think the tools are the exact right amount of constrained—e.g. trampolines only bounce you as high as the height you fell onto them from, grappling hook only latches onto specially marked surfaces—which lets the levels use them in interesting ways instead of just giving the player an unreasonable amount of mobility to clown on enemies with.

The grates I can take or leave. I don't much like integrating ladders into combat and these ones aren't really changing my mind. They're not obnoxious, they're just not as fun as zipping around through the air

Big fan of the Ziggurat Vertigo remake, though. They finally made that map fun.
