being able to buy clothing online has obviously been important to my transition over the last couple of years, but as the looming Australian summer beckons the use of lighter colours and fabrics, I am once again reminded of my burning desire for a website that will warn you ahead of time if an item is literally see-through

Yeah for real and "fast fashion" that can be hard to avoid loves sheer (read: cheap) fabrics
I'm at the point where I just assume the worst of anything pale-colored unless it's something that's designed to be thick, like a sweater or a hoodie. I've been burned too many times, and it's too hot here for me to bother with layering. You'd never know I like pastels by looking at my wardrobe.
