It works very well and it doesn't distract from the rest of your color scheme! If you ever choose to get something similar, I think it'll be a great addition to your wardrobe. My only piece of advice is to get one with pockets--I know they don't look as good in terms of the overall silhouette, but I have a similar coat with pockets and it comes in handy so much!
