the problem with Cruelty Squad is that I really want to make my own levels but I know deep down that I could never Commit To The Aesthetic to the degree that it does.
I have so much respect for it though. It's so laser-focused on the visuals of the doomed nineties VR wave (see: Worlds) while capturing the odd extremes of early 3D level design. Too-long corridors, tiny ledges to inch along, overly cramped 'realistic' rooms...
