A lot of Doom Eternal's writing really didn't land for me and it's a shame because the physical comedy is definitely still there in parts. Hitting the button to call an elevator and instead having twelve floors collapse out from under you is some prime Looney Tunes shit

imo doom eternal's writing was absolutely horrible, which is a damn shame considering that a: doom 2016's was actually not half bad and b: much greater emphasis is placed on said writing in doom eternal
