for context, lake washington in Seattle is too deep to have conventional bridges, so we have two of the longest floating bridges in the world. One time they wanted to clean the i90 bridge, so they wanted to use pruessure washers, and they'd store the waste water...inside the concrete pontoons. Well after they opened them up, there was a huge rain storm, and they filled with more water...and...well....the whole fucking bridge sank
