tfw you find home in a name but then you wake up one morning like "this isn't comfortable anymore" so you shrug it off but then you have to like. tell other people.

This is what makes it so hard to share names with people. I've avoided it entirely so far, because to be the frustration with spreading the name change every time is more than the frustration of hearing the wrong name and responding to it.
Am I repeatedly causing harm to my psyche? Probably. But that's most of what I do anyway so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
