so freaking true, yes there are some people from twitter that like it and have always wanted to follow there (because even when the ban on tumblr happened I wasn't that desperate to join twitter) but Jesus is it a nightmare to try to figure things out when you are there. you better believe that I have to work to find and follow BIPOC and get them noticed. another grip i have is that it is not only disorganized as hell but I just discovered the existence of gu.ppi.es after a few days of using it, this is a more effective version to using hashtags and following the bookstodon gu.ppi.es I can see it. I may not use it a lot but I can say with confidence is that there is definently going to some things they are going to have to do in order to make it perfect
this tracks tbh. The idea of mastodon is neat but every time someone tries to convince me to use it I physically feel my brain shutting down. Feels like too many weird little fiefdoms, but I can't tell if that's accurate or I just don't "get" it
