it's interesting to hear this! I love the LatT Anomaly game, but find the tunnel project a little underwhelming so far... but I imagine whatever happens in the last two bluff arcs of this season will fundamentally change my pov on it, the same way Messy Business does for season 1. Is there anything about the meta plot you particularly like?

well to begin with i just think the core conceit of the season is a good framing device for anthology fiction- the construction of the Tunnel Project and the degredation of Bluff City happening in the background, but none of the stories are about that. its gloomy and melancholy and makes me super excited to find out what they have in mind for s3

but more specifically, and i can't remember if this is something that was actually gestured at on the show or if i just made this up, but it was my impression that even as each game jumps back and forth in time, from the 70s to the 00s to the 20s, we are experiencing the story in linear order, wrt the construction of the Tunnel Project. Like Bluff and Blough don't have to follow linear time, because they're stories, but Bluffington does and that intersection is gonna look weird from the inside!

and like that's what the Anomaly game feels like to me, the funfair is described like a bookworm chewing through time like the pages of a book, and i'm not sure if that's supposed to literally be the Tunnel or not but i feel like it reflects the SHAPE of it and it fascinates me
