anyway i didn't talk about it much bc covidbrain but i cleared through Yakuza 6! i'm all caught up in time for Gaiden in November! :D
i liked 6! some weird pacing early on, and it's not my favorite mechanically (i wasn't big on kiwami 2, either), but it is one of my fav overly complex organized crime dramas. i love the exceptionally illegal boat as a plot device.
it would have been nice if Haruka didn't have to spend like 98% of the game in a coma? yes
do i think this is a satisfying end to Kiryu's arc? not really but we know now that this very much is not the end for this motherfucker, and makes me very excited for Gaiden and 8
