Every year anime-planet does a secret santa event where players sign up to give anime recommendations to each other, and I've had a ton of fun each time I've participated. Everyone who participates has been super friendly and you get to see a ton of different anime recs thrown around, a lot of them you probably haven't seen or heard of before.
