They only charge for tripods at the japanese garden, so bring a fast shutter if you want to save $10
I went to the Portland Japanese Garden with fren @exameter and it was very nice and very quiet. But we kind of followed someone who was trying to get like instagram photos while they were walking and that seemed like not really the point. Of course I was walking around with a Big Stupid Camera, and there were other people with Bigger, Stupider Cameras.
