Every once in a while, someone peels back a corner of some innocuous wheatpaste flyer and reveals another peephole into some small detail or another of humanity's grim carnival, and I find myself challenged by how little I can relate to what I have witnessed.
For real? You shouldn't? Not that I care, I'm vegan, but I am curious as to why people shouldn't do it.
any bacteria that could theoretically be washed off with water is absolutely going to be killed by cooking the chicken anyway. when you wash chicken (or any raw meat) you're splashing that bacteria all over your sink, countertops, clothes, body, everything. and it's not like, say, a potato where there might be some dirt to rinse off
