There's a few of these "tap to find bpm" tool things out there already, but I decided to make my own for some reason. The thing is, all extant tools like this so far as I can tell use the average length of interval to set bpm, which means that only the exact timing of the first and last tap actually matters... I figured that I'm usually the most out on my first tap, so it takes more time than necessary to converge on the true bpm. The solution here is that as well as throwing away the first four taps, this thing calculates bpm using a linear regression, which takes everything into account. And it works... a little bit better. Just a bit. From there things got a bit out of hand as I decided to make it properly worth using by adding visuals, export features, and probably too many options.

I don't know how often people on here need to find the bpm of something, or measure the exact time difference between some set of keyboard inputs, but maybe it'll have some use I can't think of. I mostly made this to help with syncing custom levels for Rhythm Doctor. I figure I might as well share what I'm up to!
