Thanks for playing, everyone. I'll see you around.
I've actually had one and it was fine. I either wasn't awake for it, or wasn't forming memories. But I also think it's neat because it means they can investigate stuff in the most direct fashion without having to cut you open and stuff.
idk ive had endoscopy and colonoscopy and both times i was lucid enough to remember the whole thing despite the diazepam and fentanyl and i barfed all over the tech and his camera about 3 or 4 times and it was actually not unpleasant because of the drugs but i definitely remember it.
the contrast with my experience here is fantastic. i'm now of the belief that having an endoscopy is truly a world of limitless possibilities
im starting to think doctors are just kinda trying different stuff and seeing what happens
that's pretty much the history of docting yeah
the one i've always got is Versed (midazolam) which is just another powerful benzodiazepine that also inhibits memory formation. so you're just extremely chilled out and also won't remember anything. aiui, if necessary they may also give you some kind of painkillers because it can still be painful and uncomfortable. also the first time they did me with it i was lucid and remembered everything starting like right after the procedure and i think they made a note to up my dose because each time following that i've been bamboozled all evening
