preamble: asking for a friend (no, really). there are certain things that i absorbed as a kid and learned as i went along, and also i personally use You Need a Budget and find that it works really well for me.

what i'm seeking here is, like... material that starts from the premise of never having learned to manage money, or resources for those who have perhaps organized their lives around avoiding the anxiety associated with handling personal finance. also it would be great if it doesn't come across as uhhh an implicit endorsement of capitalism. also also, bonus if it has specific strategies for folks with ADHD??
