Whenever you're surfing the web and encounter a link to a Discord server:
- Immediately click the link
- Before the page loads, say out loud how many members you think the server has (it will display on the join confirmation page)
- (Optional) Your score is the difference between the natural logs of the true number and the last guess you made. Lower is better, <1 is impressive.
Browsing the internet can be a bit lonely when you're looking around somewhere which doesn't have numbers. Are you the only visitor this site's had in months, or are you one among thousands? Discord server links let you get an extremely rough total of how many people care about a given thing. I say rough total because it's how many people care enough to join a discord server, which is a very different threshold for different people! This makes the number less meaningful but attempting to guess it as a game more interesting.
