furries - and not furries - if you could have a tail, which kind of tail would it be? and why?
bird fan tail, slim and mobile monkey tail, fluffy fox tail, stubby bunny tail, big lizard tail (me, hi), fish tail, or something else?
i'm curious about this even if you wouldn't want to be or appear as a full animal person. i often wonder what you can tell from someone by the kinda tail they'd like to have
lizard tail that can come off and grows back, but it's made of solid gold (free money)
my fursona is a bird but if I'm otherwise unchanged just having a bird tail might be a bit incogruous. I like the idea of a big fluffy tail that is effectively an always-available cushion/plushie, or maybe a longish prehensile tail I could basically use as a third arm (it would also have to be fluffy, that part's mandatory).
oh i didn't know you had a bird fursona, cool! i think a bird tail would still work fine, tho the practicality of a prehensile tail is really good
i've had the design for like, six months, so i'm kinda new to this! one of these days i will finally get art of it and then casually mentioning it in comments will be a lot less surprising lol
the aesthetic of a cat's tail but the dexterity of a monkey's. get that form and that function, baby.
a massive floofy tail sounds great, especially being nude and feeling it against your skin.. but as someone with long hair i already know a big fluffy tail would cause problems. so i'd want a cat tail ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎
actually i did not think about the practicality of my tail much. having a big lizard tail for me would probably be very inconvenient in public transit.
but i do think about feeling it and wrapping it all over my body and i can't get over that haha
A demonic lizard tail with spines and barbs meant for combat, thick chitinous plates covering it.
dragon-like with a thicker base and tapered end, prehensile, fluffy, and long!...in other words, it's just my fursona's tail haha
i should've probably mentioned being your entire fursona works for this question lol. and yeah i get you, my guys wouldn't have a big tail if i didn't want one for myself haha

prehensile lizard tail, like a chahoua gecko :D or a rat tail (which is just... my current fursona's tail lol). i'm just generally obsessed with prehensile tails as a concept i think
