two

actually the number two IRL

Thanks for playing, everyone. I'll see you around.

Bonbon
@Bonbon asked:

how do you feel about 2self pronouns

example:

  • ”Oh wow, I listened to @two's two tunes, too!! 2s tuba‑tooting taught me a lot about 2. I hope 2 keeps touring ways to toot out more tunes!“

sure, go for it! i mean, the any in my profile is intended as full license for whatever wild experimentation you deem appropriate (while i, as a scientist, collect data without trying to interfere). it's basically moot because it's pretty rare that people on social media use pronouns for eachother anyway (so it'd probably take a long time for me to collect enough data to decide how i really feel about anything in particular), but by all means the opportunity is there.

however, i must make it clear that i take great pains to avoid doing anything that could be described as "tooting"

in reply to @two's post:

what if they were instead described as ”twoting“

very cooliosssss

i actually put ”2self pronouns“ in my private notes for you when private notes came out ages ago (+ ”2“ and ”Moab Hellmouth Sunbeams fan“ (per your mentioned usage (bloop))) as a joke(?) after seeing your any, and then i figured that it'd be a fun ask to send after asks came out!
..........which i never did until confronted with the need to address you with a third person pronoun only recently. (bloop.)

Hah, that's a good demo of how infrequently 3rd person pronouns actually come up on social media! Thanks for the ask.

(unrelatedly, why the backwards quotation marks? it's a little unsettling lol)

it's a little unsettling lol

good  that means it's workingg

simplest answer: silly typing quirk????

longer answer: after discovering how easy it was to alternate between curly quotes and straight quotes on my mobile keyboard, i thought that it'd be funny to do things like “this" (where i mix the two quotes up).
i then felt like i had to maintain this by randomizing the combinations that i use, like “curly quote first" or ''straight quotes  but one of them's secretly two apostrophes" etc.
it then started taking up too much executive function just to send quick funny messages on discord, so i settled with my favourite, which was backwards quotation marks. 😅✨

i feel like it also further tones down the intellectualism in my tone, which is just another breather from the burnout of having trying to embody ”being smart“ for all these yearsssss (which is also why i accidentally stopped using capital letters + punctuation a lot after compulsively using them even when i used to play flippin' MMOs)

idk. helps me not take myself too seriously  ig.
+ silly/upsetting

fair enough! honestly my experience with this website has been that people with typing quirks seem to have the best things to say. Meanwhile I'm still recovering from years spent commenting on reddit so the most I can do is drop in and out of capitalising sentences randomly

😳✨ but yeah  i know exactly what you meann

also recovering from years commenting on reddit — except, in my case, i often needed to comment on things with Authority, so perfect grammar then ig??
(accidentally became the sort of person people would ping to share my thoughts on a very specific form of nonbinary hrt years ago when it'd come up in some threads)
way more chill vibes here to just let loose thooo

and i like your capitalization rng.
seems even more loose/chill than what i do (my brain compromised with including ”imperfect grammar“ by mapping out like a whole mental flow chart of each condition in which i capitalize  or use a period  or substitute punctuation with a thin space etc. etc.)
Would be funny if I did something like abruptly use capitals in the last sentence of my too long comments, though.
