an important thing to know about me is that at any given time there's a maybe 5% chance that i'm thinking about my plan for an elaborate scavenger-hunt type game (think like Jet Lag, or any Ingress Anomaly, or the "runaround" from puzzle hunts, or that kind of thing that Tom Scott has done a few times) themed around delivering mail. like, maybe you'd split into teams and be given a huge parcel each, and once you deliver the parcel to someone they open it and it has another, slightly smaller parcel inside with an address that's a bit harder to parse or physically get to than the last; or maybe there'd be three huge teams of Earth, Fire, and Water, and all the mail you're delivering has magical stones or something inside, and you'd always have this choice of delivering it to its recipient for a set reward or opening it yourself to get resources you can use to cast spells that would improve your fortune; or it starts as this thing where you're just running around delivering letters to get points but becomes this vast story of political intrigue where players get to participate by writing their own letters and the points stop mattering; or-
