i'm not going to actually properly review void stranger because i feel as though i'm not even mostly done with it just yet, but i think i can already recommend it if you're like, a big puzzle game fan. And not in the sense that the puzzles are especially difficult; Void Stranger starts them off easy and the ramp-up in difficulty is very smooth. If you've played through most of like, Baba is You, you can definitely handle it. It's just that Void Stranger is a very subtle game: it wants you to pay attention, take notes, experiment, be patient, and question everything. The whole game is a puzzle!
The thing is, the number one complaint that I've seen people have about Void Stranger, the thing where people say "I really wanted to like this game, but", is not quite true. It's a fair assumption, but there's more to it than that. There is a fair bit of backtracking though, that part is unavoidable. Again, you have to be patient.
I guess, if you liked playing Sylvie Lime as if it was a puzzle game, you'll probably like this.
