In the past few days I've found out that:
- my cat Ramona has hyperthyroidism, which we found out during an expensive vet visit and will require more expensive vet visits to make sure her new meds are working correctly
- my insurance decided to re-deny a claim I had appealed for some tests I had done at the doctor back in October
- a job that I had thought seemed like a pretty sure thing is actually not happening after all
I want to be clear that the situation isn't dire, but we've had to use a whole lot of our emergency savings. So if you've ever had the thought, "huh, maybe it would be cool to support my pal Megan monetarily," now would be a great time to do so!
