i cannot scale this guy up but the sprite section of the original legend of zelda for Wizzrobe includes this. i...am at a loss at how this works, it's a .png, it's animted, neither paint dot net, gimp, or aseprite will open it up as anything other than a static image. im losing my gourd over this lil guy.

The file extension claims to be a PNG, but internally it's a WEBP. Additionally, Firefox doesn't show any animations whatsoever on there, implying that whatever WEBP spec enables animation is Chrome-only.
hm, it occurs to me too that maybe my problem is the Indie Wiki Buddy extension, that the image does animate on the actual Fandom page but not on the Antifandom one. Sigh.
